Mode of action and benefits

For sulphur supply via the leaf - - as water-soluble formulation
For yield and quality - - sulphur is needed to build up amino acids, protein, enzymes and vitamins.
Increases oil content and improves feed quality..

Sulphur foliar fertilisers are specially formulated for foliar application. Sulphur (S) is an essential nutrient for plants, necessary for the formation of proteins, enzymes and chlorophyll, and plays an important role in various metabolic processes in plants. A deficiency of boron can lead to various growth problems in plants, such as yellowish leaves, reduced growth and reduced yield performance. Application to the leaf can quickly counteract an acute nutrient deficiency and improve the health of plants.

The application of sulphur foliar fertiliser can be combined with other foliar fertilisers and compost tea. Do not apply with herbicides or calcium-containing foliar fertilisers.

Application and dosage

Crop	Application rate
General	For prevention and correction of sulphur deficiency: 2-10 l/ha as foliar fertiliser in at least 300 l/ha water.
Wine	3-4 l/ha from green shoot tips (BBCH09), 4 l/ha from beginning of flowering (BBCH61), 4 l/ha after flowering (BBCH71). Max. 8 applications over the leaf. Water application rate 200 – 1000 l/ha. At 200 l water application rate, apply 4 l PhytoGreen®-Sulphur800 product without further mixing partners. For higher water or lower product application rates, see mixability.
Cereals	For sulphur supply and better N utilisation, for lower susceptibility to powdery mildew, to increase protein content and TKG: In the flag leaf stage and for ear treatment, apply 3 l PhytoGreen®-Sulphur800/ha to the fungicidal measures.
Hops	Correction and prevention of sulphur deficiency: If necessary, several applications of 0.2%-0.4% over the leaf.
Corn	For sulphur supply and better N utilisation: 5 l/ha from the 4-leaf stage. Seed treatment with 250 ml/unit (or 0.5 l/ha) is also possible.
Rape	For sulphur supply and better N utilisation, to increase the oil content: 1-2 times 5 l PhytoGreen®-Sulphur800/ha from the 6-leaf stage until the beginning of flowering (when applied together with other products, max. 1 l PhytoGreen®-Sulphur800 per 50 l spray water application).
