Filter Bags for Compost Tea
Filter bags play an essential role in the application of compost tea to effectively remove solids while allowing the flow of microorganisms. Filter bags are available in two different mesh sizes: 200 microns and 400 microns.
Filter bags with 200 micron mesh size
The finer mesh size minimizes nozzle clogging in application systems while allowing sufficient numbers of microorganisms to pass through the filter.
- Effective separation of solids: Reduces the amount of small particles that can pass through the filter.
- Minimization of nozzle clogging: Reduces the risk of clogging in systems with fine nozzles.
- Permeability to Microorganisms: Despite the narrow mesh size, the filter allows the passage of a significant number of microorganisms.
Filter Bags with 400 Micron Mesh Size
The larger mesh size allows for faster filtration of compost tea or compost extract and a greater flow of microorganisms.
