Si l&rsquo;on apporte trop de potassium durant cette phase, cela peut freiner l&rsquo;absorption du calcium et du magn\u00e9sium, ce qui favorise \u00e0 son tour les dommages caus\u00e9s par les insectes.  <\/p>\n<p>D\u00e8s que la culture passe \u00e0 la fructification, les besoins en azote diminuent. Parall\u00e8lement, l&rsquo;apport d&rsquo;azote par le sol s&rsquo;am\u00e9liore gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es, un syst\u00e8me racinaire plus d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 et une lib\u00e9ration accrue d&rsquo;exsudats racinaires. Durant cette phase, les besoins en potassium augmentent toutefois nettement, car le potassium est central pour la nouaison, la qualit\u00e9 des fruits et les processus de transport.
